Works fine for me on a G4 cube, modulo remaining problems in UBC.

I'm not sure, but one thing I've found is that recent swap changes and
UBC have caused the kernel to start panicking whe I try to allocate 1GB
of swap space.  If you have a large swap partition, you might try
trimming it and see if that helps.
