(1) ACARD,6260
Honestly speaking, I had bought the exactly same card as Jojo got,
> Acard product 0x0007 (SCSI mass storage, revision 0x01) at pci0 dev 13
> function 0 not configured
which has LSI labeled ATP860 with Open Firmware ROM on it.

(2) 20G disk
and I have another Seagate 320420 disk which has been snapshot/20001125
installed separately (without any patch, for actually another purpose),

(3) Both now connected to the StarMax OF 2.0.2 machine, and type
0 > boot /bandit/pci-bridge/ACARD,6260/sd@0:0

boot successfully up to the point:
root device: <unknown>
root device: wd1a ...... (This is what I typed)
dump device: (default wd1b): ..... ( no response from this point)

As Jojo wrote before, the card has OF ROM and it is recognized/probed
and booted to some point.

That is the story I have so far,
