The whole setup seems to work with a hard disc (not stress-tested).
The cable is new, and I have a passive Terminator, burner is in an
external box. I tried all combinations of Terminator/Cable in the two
slots on the box, and all combinations of TERMINATE (yes/no) with or
without TERMPOWER on the burner, with or without (hardware) Terminator
on the box. Which should I want -- does mesh supply Power for
termination?

What does
	mesh0: timeout state 3
mean?

Thanks,
 Thomas
