Umm, yes, I forgot. While the machine is beige, it's not a G3 but a 603
(probably Performa or something similar). I have:

tlp0 at pci0 dev 15 function 0: DECchip 21041 Ethernet, pass 2.1
tlp0: interrupting at irq 25
tlp0: Ethernet address 00:a0:40:63:ea:cc
tlp0: 10baseT, 10base2, 10base5

Anyway, since mine works, we are digressing.
