Does anyone know if:

The probe/interrupt problem with IDE0 is fixed in -current, and if so, 
does anyone have a plans of posting a -current snapshot of it?

My B&W G3 was able to probe and use IDE0 under 1.4.2 and 1.4K, but not 
under 1.5.  I'd like to get -current running if possible so I can work on 
Apple Partition Map support in sysinst over the Christmas Break.
