To start with are these files in the right
 directory?
 
 # cd /etc/netatalk
 # ls
 AppleVolumes.default      afpd.conf                
 papd.conf
 AppleVolumes.system       atalkd.conf
 AppleVolumes.system.orig  netatalk.pamd
 
 Netatalk+Asun was compiled from pkgsrc. To enable
 encryption do edit afpd.conf and what adjustments do
 I
 make to it. The only line in the file is 
 
 - -noguest 
 
 When I changes the line to 
 
 - -noguest -savepassword -setpassword -rand2num 
 -randnum  -authall -nocleartxt
 
 I was not allowed to get the loginbox and I have
 created the .passwd file in users directory.
