this did the trick for me(to boot futher). those settings were probably
corrupted when i was toying with the System Disk app. At any rate i tried
the following kernels and neither of them boots pass the mesh drive
detection.

	the 0707 snapshot
	the 0620 snapshot
	the 1.5E kernel in the 8/13 cvs tree

Mike, is Jun 10 the last 1.4 kernel?
