The original iMac (Bondi Blue) ships with firmware that drops the DHCPOFFER
coming from the server.  Upgrading to firmware version 1.2 should resolve
this problem (though it's not documented as a fix).  Check
http://asu.info.apple.com/ for iMac updates.
