Yolo, I've got a beige G3 that's running 1.4Y, and I built the 1.4Z kernel today so I can use my fxp ethernet... But for some reason, the bootloader fails...

that's where it locks up. it's the 1.4Z GENERIC kernel for macppc, on a beige G3 running OF 2.0f1 booting off an external SCSI disk, with a 3C905 ether in PCI slot 1 and a EEpro ether in PCI slot 2. Boots 1.4Y GENERIC just fine, btw.

any ideas?

thanks,

cc

Even the ice tray is empty, and that's automatic.
