I must've missed your post..
I run NetBSD 1.4.1 on a PowerMac 9500.
Its OF does not have a screen alias so I had to use BootVars to set the
output device to the full path to my video card (ATY XClaim something or
other..) Got that from a neat little app that is included in Mac PCI
development SDK - called "Display Name Registry". The only problem I recall
having was that booting from floppy failed (machine would freeze before
the boot banner even appeared)
until I disconnected the internal CD-rom drive. After that - no problems.
Booted from floppy ,did an install over the net - everything works OK. I
use it primarily to run DHCP/NAT- it has 2 internal SCSI drives and 2
NIC's. Once configured it "just works". My uptime was approaching 5 months
until the whole neighborhood lost power :-))

LMK if you need any more info.

Regards
Andy
