Good idea, but does it work with early firmware?  In my case when the
boot failed, it hangs and doesn't come back to a prompt.  I think that
it tries to boot the MacOS out of ROM if the disk boot fails, and that
also fails since there is no MacOS on this system.  It's ... amusing ...
to work on a Mac without a display...
