Hello,

I'm trying to use cdparanoia on my Macintosh Performa 6400/200. I went
and downloaded pkgsrc and installed the cdparanoia package. It compiled
cleanly (and quickly =) and then proceeded to dump core when I tried to
run it.

I did a ktrace of it to see what was happening, and this is what it gave
me (the good bits):

  3617 cdparanoia CALL ioctl(0x3,_IOR('Q',0x4,0x10),0x7fffe6a8)
3617 cdparanoia RET ioctl -1 errno 25 Inappropriate ioctl for device
  3617 cdparanoia CALL ioctl(0x4,_IOWR('Q',0x1,0x60),0x1864000)
3617 cdparanoia RET ioctl -1 errno 25 Inappropriate ioctl for device
  3617 cdparanoia PSIG SIGSEGV SIG_DFL
  3617 cdparanoia NAMI "cdparanoia.core"

I can see the error there, but I don't understand the call that caused it.
Can someone help or does anyone know a better way to rip CDs on a 6400?

Thanks in advance,
