That should probably work. We leave the video card as OF left it.

Our fraimbuffer driver will use two different fonts depending on the
screen size (so you'll get readable text either way). But other than that,
you should get what was there.

I'm not sure about what happens with different bpp values, but I think
different resolutions is fine.
