Just for the record: my beige DT/233 is happily running NetBSD, but I'm using
a SCSI disk that I mounted internally within the machine.

I never tried to install NetBSD on the IDE disk -- when I started playing with
NetBSD on this machine, IDE was not supported...so I'm using the IDE with MacOS.
