The boot floppy is not mac formatted and that's why Mac spits it out on boot
you need to boot into Open firmware ( hold cmd-option o-f at startup),
insert the floppy and type boot floppy
If your monitor is blank  your default output device is probably ttya ( serial)
Get a program called Boot Variables (on  info-mac) and  use it to set your
output devcice to be screen ( provided you have the alias for screen,
otherwise you'll have to specify the card location in the device tree)
