Hello!

I'm trying to install NetBSD on my PowerMac.

Some data on my machine:

9600/233
160MB RAM
Graphic card is IMS Twin Turbo-128 4MB
Internal disk with MacOS 8.1
Internal ZIP-disk 100MB
External JAZ-disk 2GB
Open Firmware v. 1.0.5

The macppc-faq said that EXTERNAL ZIP-Drives could cause the error
message: "panic: mesh: FIFO != 0" and reboot, this also happened on my
INTERNAL ZIP_Drive. (Add some changes to the FAQ ?)

I'm not able to use either my keyboard or my screen, so I connected
a PC to the modem-port and used OpenFirmware. Tried to set the
input to kbd and the output to both screen and /chaos/control, but nothing
worked. So I just kept on using the PC for the installation.
I installed NetBSD 1.4.1 without any problems via ftp to my JAZ-drive
which NetBSD gave the name "sd0".

The different partitions got the name:
/ sd0a
SWAP sd0c
/usr sd0g

So here is my question:
-----------------------
1. How can i get my keyboard/screen to work ?

2. How do I specify that I want my external JAZ-Drive to boot on the
   OpenFirmware-prompt ?
