For ADB, the adb man page on mac68k says: Apple Desktop Bus Mouse,
Logitech TrackMan, Logitech MouseMan, Microspeed Mouse Deluxe, Mouse
Systems A3 Mouse. (I think it also says that that's only a partial
list and that some mice are generic...)

For USB, it's all standardized, and you can use any mouse you like,
even one that's labelled for being for PCs only (although you probably
won't be able to use the extra buttons in MacOS then). But note that
the current X server assumes all mice have exactly 3 buttons.
