I think so.  IIRC I had some ancient drive connected to it at one
point a while back and it was recognized properly.

Looks like I'll be doing something like that.  Just after sending
that first message it occured to me I could try the 150 Mbyte tape
drive that's just lying around.

Also, (before I forget to bring it up again), how does NetBSD deal
with also having Apple/Linux partitions on the same disk?  Would
putting all of the NetBSD partitions in an area those consider unused
work (and vice versa)?  Or is there a more complex dance that needs
to be done here?
