Well, I looked at the changes, and the snapshot i downloaded (it was from
early '99) seems pretty crusty in comparison. You guys have been busy. :)

I used the boot floppy. With the previous snapshot i used, it was able to
boot using "boot fd:0", but the 1.4 alpha boot disk gives me the following:
