Yes, this is definitely a bug in your vtophys() implementation.  vtophys()
should either be changed to be exactly like your kvtop(), and kvtop()
nuked (and all uses of it changed to be vtophys()).

Does that addr < end identity mapping work on all of the PowerPC ports?

Also, you chould change kvtop() to take and return a vm_offset_t :-)
