Hi Nat,

Thanks for the followup.

To clarify, the problem is Booter recognizing that the kernel is
something it can execute/load.  If I use precompiled GENERICSBC (as
part of the installation process), Booter recognizes the kernel, loads
it, and I get a running system.  If I build the kernel myself
(including GENERICSBC, no modifications), Booter will not start the
load process because it doesn't recognize the kernel as something it
can load.  This is true of native and cross compiled kernels.

This doesn't appear to be a filesystem issue, as I can get prebuilt
GENERICSBC to load from the root filesystem, and my GENERICSBC will
not load from the root filesystem nor the native partition.

I don't know if the list likes attachments, but attaching a debug log
for one of the boot session attempts.
