Hi,

the one that is coming preinstalled on the system is not ok for you?
You can enable this by editing /etc/inetd.conf (just uncomment the
line with ftp on them -- there two lines one for IPv4 and one for
IPv6) and starting the inetd (add inetd=YES in /etc/rc.conf -- IIRC
in /etc/default/rc.conf is already YES).
Then "/etc/rc.d/inetd reload" or "killall -HUP inetd".
