I am reinstalling 3.0.1 on the IIci right now. It should be done by
morning and I'll take a look and get that info to you. I am
attempting to install the 20060902 snapshot of netbsd-4 on the SE/30
right now to see if it has the same issues.

INSTALLSBC and INSTALL (I think I tried both) boot just fine with no
init issues. However, sysinst cannot install sets from ftp or CD-ROM.
The tar command fails on errors about no space left on device. I
tried installing sets from ftp on both the SE/30 and IIci and then I
tried installing from the CD-ROM on the SE/30 with essentially
identical results.
