I have tried gtk2 from Q4 with gcc 3.3.3 and 3.4.4 - neither works. 
This is unfortunate, because it is the only prereq I still need to give 
XFce a shot.  Blackbox and IceWM are nice, but a full desktop on a 68k 
(however silly that may be) would be pretty cool.

If anyone gets boost-libs to compile, let me know...that's another "last 
piece" I need for a different project.  *sigh*  So close yet so far!
