Hmm, could you give some more details on the exact physical
configuration of your SCSI bus? E.g., what's connected to the Mac's internal
connector, what's connected to its external connector, what sort of
cable, where the converter is, where the terminator(s) are, which
drive(s) are terminated, etc...
