Well, what gave me so much trouble the last time was a relative breeze this
time. Experience, I do believe, makes a world of difference when we're able
to learn from our past mistakes. And learn I did!

I have finally had success in installing NetBSD on my SGI Indy R5000. As a
matter of fact, my Indy is now busily building some packages to be used by
me later. Bzflag is building as I type this. Hip, hip, hooray!

Since I was needing to netboot the Indy in order to install NetBSD, I had
planned to use a 68k Macintosh running NetBSD as a dhcp and tftp server.
Well, being new to the whole process, I failed miserably on my first attempt
and literally gave up out of sheer frustration. This time around, I used a
PowerMac 7200/90 as my dhcp and tftp server and 68k Macintosh as a terminal
for my headless Indy. And lo and behold, success!

I am so happy to finally be able to use my SGI Indy after all of these
months. I'm also very happy that one of my 68k Macintosh computers, also
running NetBSD, will perform wonderfully as an X terminal for this funky
machine.

I must go now and celebrate; life is good! Love that which dresses in blue
slabs, for it holds great power.
