p.s., not that it's entirely software related, i'd also like to get powerbook duo's to use
a flash card or built in eeprom rather than a drive, it saves power etc. and laptop scsi
drives are hard to get generally.  possibly many other hacks which i will most likely
document fully for others and for users so that they can customize the hardware and
software.  i'm looking forward to programing again and doing fairly "real" work with all
of it's complexity.  i may also build a logic analyzer for macs with decompiling and the
other common features.  it's old hardware but i have it and it's lower speed which is
better when first getting your' feet wet.  besides they are fully useful for a number of task.
