I would have thought that kdrive would be a poor choice for mac68k.

Part of the reason that Keith Packard has given for writing the fb
code used by kdrive is the change in the relative speed of CPUs and
memory since mfb, cfb etc... were written.

I think that we ought to use kdrive on the hpc* ports though.
