I'd highly recommend the Quadra 800. From what I've read, it doesn't 
have the same scsi chipset as the AV models, so it has the fastest disk 
I/O of the 680x0 based Macintosh.  I picked one up off ebay myself and 
run 1.6.1 on it, and it "seems" faster than my 840av since I've never 
bothered to run any type of benchmark on it.
