I can only say that the Daystar three work in a IIci. (yes, I also got
the FPU later), I had the 33 MHz model of the turbo 040 btw, and a Daystar
50MHz 68030 with socket for 68882@50. Don't know if it was the universal
powercache. 

Even though the machine was part of a compile farm (and could alawys use
some speedup), I never messed much with the cache because it was a
production machine.
