I've decided to take the easy way out by entering the IP-numbers of the 
ISP that we use at work ; soon I'll take the time to dig into dhcpd and 
hook it all up properly ; and if that doesn't work I'll come back to 
this wonderful list :-)

PS: My apologies for the late reply ; I had to unexpectedly jump in to
    salvage a project at work that was behind schedule and had its
