Hello.

I just installed NetBSD 1.6.1 on my LCIII (36MB/250MB internal/700MB
external). I installed it on the external 700MB drive (SCSI ID 4). The
installation finished successfully (although passwd -l root failed with
return -1), but when I went to boot from the drive, Booter (2.0.0a10)
informed me:

Is the disk in SCSI ID 4 offline?
Could not read from disk at SCSI buss 0, ID 4
Could not open kernel "netbsd".

And proceeded to not boot. The drive is on and working, and I am
telling it to use the correct partition (sd1b). Any ideas?
