Hi,
I successfully installed (loaded?) NetBSD on my original DynaMac last
night.
I actually took the RAM and HDD out from my SE/30 and replaced the 4MB
and 40MB components already inside.
She boots fine without a mouse attached (otherwise freezing at adb0).
Extremely slow also .. much more so than the SE/30. I have had little
time to figure out why, as I keep having RAM issues (lockups etc)
because the top case is putting pressure on the high-profile RAM.
I may have to run her with the original 4MB :( my other chips (which
add up to 80MB) are too high for the form factor.
Just FYI. I will post a dmesg when I get her hooked up to something. I
know the 1200 baud internal modem works from MacOS. and the screen
displays of course, though it cannot recognise what it is - or maybe
it is complaining about the built-in colour video card.
Anyone else with these old "laptop" machines?
C.
