Hi,

I've found with my PB500s that I MUST unplug the 10baseT
connection while booting.  Otherwise it's quite common
for me to trap.  Once booted everything is fine.

Note that in my case this is my hand built softfloat 
systems so this may be completely unrelated to your bug
:-)
