Ah, hmm...  I'm not sure about booting off the second scsi bus...  I
have NetBSD installed on an internal drive.  I used the serial console
to do the install.

The booter just uses the ROM to read disk blocks, etc., so I'm kind of
surprised that the booter wouldn't be able to read the kernel normally.
The kernel might be confused once it started booting, though, but you
should be able to specify the correct disk to load the root filesystem
from.

The video shouldn't matter at all.
