If this is as much as 1/3 of the time and you system is becoming=20
progressively less stable then perhaps it's an NCR vice SBC scsi=20
driver issue.  I presume you have done a fsck when you should.

[jn]- my understanding is, fsck runs automatically on startup after each =
time i have to kill it with the switch.  it is what makes the boot take =
forever, along with ssh-keygen... =20
