Hello,

i was untarrig the big pkgsrc.tar.gz archive (as gentli Frederick poointed
to that way) on my Quadra 610 (full 040, 1.5ZA kernel) wich was unused
expect for tar itself.
I put the tar process in background since it was taking a bit longer...

i got
vput: bad ref count: tag ! type VREG, usecount 0, writecount 256, refcount
0, tag VT_UFS ino 97312 (ectc etc, copying by hand to the other computer)
panic: vput: ref cnt
Stopped in pid 188(tar) at _cpuDebugger +0x6: unlk a6

i got into db>
made continue
got a dump
and all freezed

what happened? what went wrong? kernel? tar? scsi-driver?

greets,
ric
