Attempting to make Samba 2.2.3.1 from pkgsrc on NetBSD 1.4.1.

While building the dependences--I believe during Perl 5--the build
errors our with "gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal
signal 11".

Is this a problem with a) the package source, b) the compiler, c) the
whole system, or d) other?
