Ah, yes I see that now!  Even so, I've gone bac, refomatted,
reinstalled, and am back to the _boothowto thing.  I tried booting from
the INSTALL kernel again.  When I told it to use sd0a as root.  After
saying "root files system is ffs", it either hangs or says "Process
(pid 1) recieved error 4" endlessly.  I also booted from the
netbsd-GENERIC-35.gz kernel I downloaded to the HFS partition and got
essentially the same result.  I'll have to try to get another ISO image
burned and see it reinstalling with that helps.
