to whom it may concern:

i was surprised to note on your website, that you are still looking for
donated equipment, including duos. i have a duo 210 with an 80mb
drive. 7.6.1 is installed, but you can reformat.

it comes with a duodock, that includes a floppy drive and ethernet as well
as the usual ports. it may be able to include a hard drive, if i could
figure out how to open it up. there physically appears to be a modem too,
but software does not see it.

the duo on its own has some issues [sticky keys & striped screen] that make
using the dock a good idea. i have a seagate 426mb scsi drive i can
include, as well as the portable floppy drive, and duo adaptor, and
external mouse & keyboard. but i assume you already have such equipment.

i can pay postage both ways [that is, if you need to dispose of it after
you are done, then i would rather call it a "loan" than a "donation"]

i look forward to your reply. if this email address does not work, you can
contact me at newqjon<at>lycos<dot>com.

btw: if you know any recent tips on dayna lc-pds ethercards, or running X
on lc2 at color depth >1bit, i would love to hear about that too.

cheers,
