Hi all,

I recently installed NetBSD 1.5.2 on an old Mac IIci with two network cards,
and have been quite happily using it as a routing machine for our home
network ever since -- no more squabbling over whose turn on the net it is
:-)

But my gf's Yahoo Messenger seems to have a hard time functioning correctly,
and will disconnect after a while. Plus she has lots of problems getting
onto the chat rooms. And since I'd much rather she doesn't go tinkering
settings herself, I'm turning to you for help.

A quote from the "Yahoo - Troubleshooting Windows Messenger" webpage says:
" Ask your System Administrator to open port 5050 to our Messenger servers,
cs1.yahoo.com, cs2.yahoo.com, and cs3.yahoo.com. "

I'd love to do that for my gf, but don't know that much about ipnat/ipfilter
config at all. I've been checking around the FAQ's and searching with
Google, but what I find is either not helpful or too cryptic.

Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Best regards,

Jan Schenkel.
