Dang, I wish I'd gotten your message earlier. I'd have bet you. See
syssrc/sys/dev/scsipi/if_se.c, the driver for the Cabletron devices. They
do work, though as Allen mentioned, they are hard to find.

We never got enough docs for the Asante units. :-(
