To be exactly I was trying to transfer files from my iMac to the 
/usr/pkg/share/httpd/htdocs folder. That's the root for Apache by 
default.

Can I just change the root in httpd.conf to my user directory? I am the 
only user and don't need anonymous FTP-access.
