I tried to build NetBSD on Darwin a while back, but I ran into
trouble because Darwin's gcc can't cross compile. At least, I
/think/ it can't. Anyway, once I get an official gcc built on my
Darwin/MOSX machine (along with binutils, that's the hard part) I
will try again. That is, assuming that what your saying here is NOT
that gcc can't cross build with a Mach-O host and an ELF target
system.
I don't see why gcc couldn't handle building ELF binaries on a
Mach-O system, but I want to be sure before I start another round of
trying to cross-build NetBSD.
