I'd guess that the WGS80 is a Q800 + PDS card. Do you have a PDS card?
if so, how does it probe at boot time?

In my WGS95, I see:
nubus0 slot e: Apple\M-( Workgroup Server PDS (Vendor: Copyright (C) 1987-1993 Apple Computer, Inc. All Rights Reserve, Part: 341-0957) Type: 000c 0008 0006 0100 not configured
