Try NetBSD-1.5.1 or NetBSD-current.  This was an unfortunate bug that
made it into the 1.5 release.  :-(

You should be able to just grab a kernel from one of the other
snapshots, then update your install from within NetBSD (which
is quicker and more reliable than using the installer.
