Hi!
Some days ago, I installed NetBSD 1.5.1 for mac68k, as it is found on the
ISO-Image.
Most things run fine, however, there are a few things I don't yet
understand:
1. I tried to change the keyboard to German, but instead got an error:
wsconsctl -k -w encoding=de
-> WSKBDIO_SETENCODING: Invalid argument.
2. What do I have to change so that _any_ user can mount/umount /cdrom,
right now (unless logging in as root) I get:
mount /cdrom
-> mount_cd9660 /dev/cd0a on /cdrom Operation not permitted
3. Echoing the startup messages to the printer works perfectly, but
redirecting output do /dev/zstty[0,1] doesn't send a single bit.
4. When I log in on the console and then do startx, .xinitrc (maybe the
global one, don't remember) can be used to install a German keymap. When
I have the system start xdm and xfs on startup, neither global nor local
.xinitrc is used. Making .xinitrc u+rwx didn't exactly help, but maybe
I'm looking in the wrong place?
I'd be grateful for any hints.
Regards
Alex
