OK,

I turned off the video hack for 475/575, and now I seem to be in
business.

Thanks,
Marty

Hi,

I am trying to install Netbsd on an unsupported LC475. I have replaced
the original 68040 chip with an RC type one. I also selected the 475/575
video hack in booter....

I have gotten to the point where I use booter to start it up, but when
it gets just past saying:

root file system type: ffs

I get a

panic: cnopen cn_tab->cn_dev == NODEV

I am hoping to use this machine as an LPR postscript RIP for a inkjet
printer, since I can't print to it from OSX otherwise....

I'm excited about getting this up.....

SO thanks,
Marty
