As I recall it requires some special software.  When I tired using one 
years ago on a MacOS system it added some stuff to the System file.  It 
never worked very well for me under MacOS and I tossed it in the closet.  
The only documentation that came with it was in the software that 
configured it which was available on thier Web site someplace in Hawaii 
(when it was running).
