not stricktly sure but couldn't find its name 
in their supported hardware list

ofcourse did tried installin
just made footprints at the
promt(with distorted penguin) saying that
IDE is something... or somewhat

maybe things are at the same stage in both world?
debian's site suggests their unsupported hardware user to visit the netbsd 
world
